MY-GUY · FLASHGUARD

The World's First Active Sensory Shield

In an instant, a single flash can turn a moment of joy into a moment of real danger. We're building the glasses that detect and neutralize that flash before it ever reaches the brain.

The Invisible Barrier

They're not afraid of the dark.
They're afraid of the light.

For most people, a flash of light is a fleeting moment. For millions, it can be life-threatening.

It's called sensory accessibility, and it's the barrier no one talks about. Flickering lights at events, concerts and movie theaters, video games, even the strobe of a passing police car, can trigger a severe epileptic seizure or extreme sensory overload. For them, these are invisible walls.

And the cruelest part: some of the drugs meant to calm things down actually raise the risk of a seizure. The only option today is avoidance and social isolation. Giving up the wedding, the concert, a video game with friends.
The Story Behind the Venture

Guy, and His Father

MY-GUY is named after Guy Moses, son of co-founder Udi Moses.

Guy is an athlete on the autism spectrum, an international champion with eleven medals at the Virtus European and World Championships. When Guy suffered his first epileptic seizure in the middle of a live show, his father made a decision: no one would be left outside the celebration.

The Solution

MY-GUY FlashGuard

Smart, stylish glasses with active lenses that neutralize the danger before it reaches the brain. The name is no accident: it's for Guy, but also "my guy," "my friend." Not a cold piece of tech, but personal protection that's always there.

MY-GUY: full transparency, selective filtering, non-stigmatizing design, millisecond response

Active, not passive. Today's solutions are dark, always-on tinted lenses that dim everything, distort color and impair vision, so most people simply don't wear them. MY-GUY stays clear and transparent 99% of the time, and acts only on the dangerous flash itself.

How It Works

Three Steps, Within a Single Moment

1

Sense

Tiny sensors continuously scan the surrounding light patterns.

2

Analyze

The Rhythm Engine, the smart core of our product, is designed to identify only the dangerous flicker patterns: frequency, deep-red color, and flash intensity.

3

Act

A fast liquid-crystal lens neutralizes the flicker within the first pulse, long before the brain reaches the seizure threshold.

The bottom line: the science and the components already exist and are mature. We're the first to combine them into a fast, wearable, smart product.

A one-second windowA seizure only develops after a full second of continuous flicker, a window wide enough to neutralize it before it starts
Unit Economics

Low Cost, Wide Margins

All parts are available off-the-shelf, leaving healthy margins at consumer price.

Unit economics: active LCD lenses, case and battery, photodiode sensor, ESP32 processor. Total estimated cost per MVP unit $50 to $110.
The Potential

A Large and Growing Market

The product was born for epilepsy, but it touches a far wider circle: anyone harmed by flashing light. Migraine sufferers driven into a dark room by bright light, people on the autism spectrum who experience sensory overload, those recovering from concussion, and gamers who skip titles that carry photosensitivity warnings.

The Scale of the Problem
65Mepilepsy patients worldwide
1/36children on the autism spectrum
1B+with light sensitivity and migraines, about 15% of the population
TAM SAM SOM
TAM · Total Market
Tens of billions of dollars. Everyone in the world who is light-sensitive, plus the devices, licensing and institutions market.
SAM · Serviceable Market
Billions of dollars. Photosensitive epilepsy, autism, migraine and gaming, in developed markets.
SOM · Obtainable Market
Hundreds of millions of dollars. The first early adopters and institutional pilots, within three to five years.
Direct to consumer

Families waiting for a solution that prevents the next seizure.

Business (B2B)

Cinemas, event venues and institutions bound by accessibility regulation.

Technology licensing

AR glasses makers, the next generation of smart eyewear, will need a protective layer against harmful visual stimuli, and our Rhythm Engine fits right in.

All told, an audience of hundreds of millions and market potential in the billions of dollars. Epilepsy is the entry point, and the Rhythm Engine is a platform for active sensory protection.

About

The Founding Team

Udi Moses Co-founder

Guy's father, and the entrepreneur who decided no one would be left outside the celebration. Partner at the Happiness Studies Academy alongside Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar, and co-creator of the world's only Master's and Doctorate in Happiness Studies. Educator, film teacher, photographer and video editor, and a pioneer of public Montessori education.

Noa Shalev Co-founder

A serial entrepreneur and trailblazer in Israeli health. Co-founder of Israel's first school of science-based nutritional medicine, and founder of ONCO LOGIC, an integrative model that unites leading authorities from science, traditional and Western medicine for women facing cancer. A children's author, poet, and psychodrama therapist. Eldest sister to Adi, who lives with drug-resistant epilepsy, and mother to Adam, a wonderful boy on the autism spectrum who faced myoclonic epilepsy. For her, MY-GUY isn't an idea. It's home.

Guy Moses The Inspiration and Ambassador

An athlete on the autism spectrum. A soldier in regular service on the outstanding-athlete track, winner of eleven medals in international Virtus athletics competitions, and a member of Israel's national adapted-athletics team. The human face of the venture.

The Opportunity

We're raising a Pre-Seed / Seed round to develop the MVP.

A chance to get in on day one of an entirely new category: active sensory protection. A market of hundreds of millions of people, a product that protects them, and a story you won't forget.
